Polaris Nasal Emollient
My sister-in-law brought this gem into my dry-nose life and it’s fantastic. I complained to her of how insanely dry my nose is cause of flying coupled with wearing a mask plus sprinkle in winter. And she solved my problem by handing me this wonderful smelling thing. Totally-totally works. I woke up without dry snot in my nose. Was able to breathe throughout the night. Looking forward to testing it out on our flight to New Zealand when the goal is to remove the mask as little as possible. In flying a short distance from Spokane to SFO I thought I was gonna go insane from resisting in picking my nose cause it was so dry and itchy. She says it will likely even make the mask smell better. Fingers crossed!
Bought it via Amazon to replenish the bottle she gave me: https://amzn.to/3YZnTKE. The same company had another that was a dollar less, but it wasn’t clear that it came with a dropper or not. I wanted to make sure I replaced hers with like-kind product. However, in reading reviews I am liking the idea of applying it with a Q-Tip versus the dropper.
Andobil MagStick Selfie Stick Tripod
I’m seriously just gonna give it 5 stars based on the fact that in product testing it on a short walk to my mailbox in 15 degrees and snow and ice I was able to use it without taking my mittens off by using the clicker that is securely attached to the rod. This wasn’t even a benefit I’d considered for getting a selfie stick. I also managed to slip and fall on my buttocks and my phone stayed in place.
This is my first ever selfie stick so I have nothing to compare it to, but knowing that it works with mittens: priceless.
I’ll be putting it to greater use in January during our trip to New Zealand and hope to capture cool videos and images. Fingers crossed.
I’ll be sure to update my review after my trip, but right now I am very pleased that this will be a must for us to carry anytime we go hiking in winter conditions. No more freezing our hands off by taking our gloves off.
