Thoughts?
I know I’m usually quite wordy, but I don’t have much to say about this book. And this isn’t because it’s not a good book. I really enjoyed reading it. I liked the whole scents and memories theme. It was just a book with a story of a girl growing up that I enjoyed reading. Couple of sad moments–the kind that make you gasp or shed a tear or both.
I just don’t have any major take aways from the story. It was a good read, but not an epic one. I also didn’t jot down any favorite quotes, but there were some “life lessons” that Emmeline learned that were a somewhat thought provoking.
